The African Renaissance Monument in Senegal, larger that the Eiffel tower and the statue of liberty .. Things you don’t see in mainstream media. @KrystVegaNeteru

This is beautiful.

I think this picture better illustrates the size of that monument.

I never even knew this existed this makes me so happy to find out about it

JESUS FUCK

It’s an incredible monument, but as to why it’s not as famous as the statue of liberty and the Eiffel tower is because it was built and completed just 4 years ago as opposed to the other two which were built more than a century ago, at a time when such constructions were incredibly difficult without modern technology.
It’s definitely awe inspiring though, despite the fact that it caused rioting throughout Senegal because the country is in economic crisis and the population was furious that 27 million (US$) was spent on a statue that was designed by a romanian architect and built by a north korean construction firm.
But hey, it’s big, even if the local population is disgusted with it’s creation, go ahead and use it to justify your anger at the media.

Hey, White America, You Need To Hear What These Ferguson Kids Have To Say

In a new video from social justice-oriented T-shirt company FCKH8, several Ferguson children lampoon the excuses white people give to avoid getting involved in ending discrimination in America and deliver a call to action to stomp out racism.

Watch the full video and see these kids explain how racism is still a huge part of even getting an interview for a job.

THIS IS THE SHIT

Watch the video. This actually angers me. They call for the end of racism through racism. In being racist, they are perpetuating the racist culture. We need acceptance and equality, not a blame game of he said she said. Two wrong don’t make a right. How many cliches do I need to pull out before this gets across. White people as a stereotypical whole, are racist. Black people as a stereotypical whole ARE racist. Quit.

^ lol white logic

White people: calling me out on my racist behaviour and trying to not be passive aggressive is racist black people! Be docile. Obviously we know what’s best, I mean…we’re white.
Shut the fuck up you stupid, rotten, moldy jar of mayo, and fucking listen you shit!
